Lesson learnt the hard way, coffee shops in California open wayyyyy later than in New York City:
Nothing is more torturous than smelling coffee in front a of a closed hip coffee shop door because they don’t open — wait for it — until 7 a.m.
So unfortunately, when in Los Angeles, like here in Hollywood, you have to wait to rise for a good grind. It’s even more torturous when the coffee shop is called “Rise’n Grind”
RISE-N-GRIND on Hollywood and Wilcox in Los Angeles is however worth the wait and there is plenty to look at while you do so. Here are some of my unedited favorites.
