I am all about taking the road less traveled, however when we picked the scenic route to Punta Islita from Playa Panama, we did not think it would take us to an impassable river near Samara which then added a whole new set of dirt roads. Judge for yourself if the views at, from and near Hotel Punta Islita are worth the long, bumpy and dusty journey. Here are the first impressions with more details to follow.
