Eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring!
Picture below is my first attempt at making pistachio ‘milk’ in 2016 for the base of this healthy breakfast bowl with spinach, apple and pineapple added to the base and mixed berries, hemp hearts, granola, chopped pistachios and frozen bee pollen on top. Hard to see, but a tasty topping: raw almond butter.

What makes this a very travelicious no recipe dish is that some of the ingredients are from a recent visit to the Santa Barbara Farmer’s Market: the pistachios, bee pollen and raw almond butter.
It is something I always do as not only do I support small local businesses in the community I am visiting, but I also can relive my travels by enjoying the foods I bought with family and friends.
